Lucky Encounter - Part 6Fallout 3, GobxReader
You left the bar in a hurry, stopping just outside the door you passed through. Your heart was pounding and felt as if it were going to explode at any moment. It was just a peck on the cheek, but at the same time it was so much more... It was a seal to your promise; a vow of companionship. You were going to free him no matter how difficult or life-threatening the challenge was.
It was the only goal you had in your lonely life of consistant wandering and scavenging; surviving only to live- living only to survive. The vicious cycle of your life.
But now you had a reason to survive; to live. Your life was no longer meaningless; you had someone to worry about, and you hoped he returned the feeling.
After several minutes, the nervous thudding of your heart dulled while your face cooled from the warm blush that recently occupied it. You knew tonight you wouldn't be getting sleep at all, even after seeing Gob; well, especially<

You let out a loud grunt of pain as you hit the hot metal walkway with a loud thud. A couple confused bystanders turned to look at you, but glanced away once they saw the place you were just thrown out of.
You stood back up on your feet and let out a hefty sigh. Me and my damn temper... you thought.
No... Moriarty deserved that, for how shitty he treats everyone! Someone had to stand up to him for once!
You thought it over for a minute. Though, I guess I could have done it with a little more... class...
From the now-familiar pain you felt in your shoulder, you figured you should have it checked out. Moriarty probably popped the stitches. You threw a glare at the door to the rusty saloon before walking away in search of a doctor.
After a while of wandering the creaky metal city and meeting some of its inhabitants, you finally found the local clinic. Ther

You woke up the next morning; this time to light shining through the corroded metal spots dotting the wall. Last night after that embarrassing incident, no thanks to your tattle-tale stomach, Gob made you some BlamCo Mac n' Cheese along with an apple, which you happily yet quickly devoured. He told you not to tell Moriarty about it or he'd have his head.
After some small talk with the friendly ghoul, you went to sleep; and even though the cot was almost as uncomfortable as lying on the floor, you were out like a light and slept heavily through the rest of the night; glad that for once you didn't have to worry about being attacked while you rested.
You sat up and stretched out your arms, wincing at an angry stab from your shoulder. You really hoped it wasn't going to take a long time to heal- how were you supposed to defend yourself with a bum arm?
You slowly got out of "bed" and took a small hairbrush from your w

You groaned and slowly opened your sleep-encrusted eyes. Judging by the lack of light in the area, it was night time.
Or I'm in somebody's basement... You shook your head slightly, and looked around suspiciously. You appeared to be in a small room. To your left, somewhat hidden by a cabinet, you saw a rusty terminal with a tired green glow; the only source of light in the room. It sat attached to the wall; its screen making a soft buzzing sound.
Scrunching your eyes to see better in the darkness, there seemed to be a couple shelves lined with... stuff. It all really looked like sinister shadows tucked in to the blackness of the room.
Darkness is a funny thing. It could take the most mundane, innocent, or otherwise normal object, and turn it into something completely unsettling. You were somewhat used to it, however, as you've spent many long nights lying awake in the desolate wasteland, jumping a

Even though your eyes had been hazy at best from the blood loss, you could tell that it had been dark out; so the hope you had held on finding someone to aid you had been dwindling fast. You scoffed slightly; just your luck. The only lights that had been on were the dim street lights, and those had been far and few between. The flashing neon sign of a local establishment seemed to taunt you in the darkness. And this is where you started to panic. You had needed help, now. If things kept going on the way they did, you were going to die. Right then and there, in the middle of the dirt streaked road. You couldn't help but stop for a few seconds, squeezing your eyes shut as the dizziness and lightheadedness took over.
You opened your eyes, taking in deep, albeit shaky breaths to try to calm your mind. It was then that a sign caught your eye. The sign was large, and had big white letters. You couldn’t quite make out in th
Dreams of realityA pair of eyes;
Open and stare through the lights,
Into the darkness of doom.
And yet they smile,
Yet they smile.
A drop of tear;
Seeps through the garden of death;
Falls to the mortal soil.
Dreams and desires will blend again,
To render the roses alive.
I am floating through a vision.
Like ripples, floating through the pond of life.
Can reality be so real?
Let me drown again,
Into the silence of familiar noise.
As I wander through the lanes of reason and passion.
The flame of hope burns bright,
Drenched in the colors of freedom.
So let my dreams unravel my soul,
As darkness fades away;
And let mortality draw me closer to destiny.
As these pair of eyes,
Open to stare through the lights again.
Is this reality?
Can reality be so real?
Time passes by, as the eyes keep staring;
Staring at the distant lights;
Staring beyond the distant skies.
What do they see?
What do they long?
What do they desire?
Then the skies will break down;
White lightning striking the dreamy clouds.
Moments will tur
